Since the day we launched Turkey's first biodegradable garbage bag, our vision has been to produce sustainable products and solutions that make life easier. In addition to our ever-growing sustainable product portfolio, 50% of the formulations used in the production of all our garbage bags are made from recycled materials. As part of our sustainability mission statement, "A livable world is easier together," we support waste collection campaigns and carry out many projects to raise recycling awareness:
We launched the global waste collection movement TrashTag in Turkey.
We have set up a recycling station in Kidzania.
As a trash bag sponsor, we have supported environmental cleanup campaigns for years by working with non-governmental organizations (Turmepa, Let's Do It Turkey, Mind Your Waste Foundation) and communities.
In line with our mission to bring recycling to children, Turkey's most popular children's author Sara Şahinkanat wrote the story "The Girl Whispering to the Birds" for Koroplast. In our 40th year with ÇEVKO, we have turned the waste collected in 40 places into a storybook.
Based on our storybook, which teaches children the importance of recycling, we have conducted recycling training in schools in cooperation with TOÇEV. At the same time, we launched our “Heroes of Transformation” website to bring recycling awareness to every child
